It's a Girl!!!  She has arrived, Lexi Ann Cooper.  6 lbs 14 oz, 20 inches long, she came on Wed. Dec 9th 2009 at 12:10 P.M. Everything went well.  We took Kodi's scrapbook to the hospital to compare the two angles.  As you might be able to tell from the pictures here, Lexi looks almost exactly like Kodi did.  We decided that Lexi's hair was a little bit longer, but Kodi's was a little bit darker.  As you can see Kodi is as happy as can be to be a big sister.

Ho Ho Ho! Santa came to our house early this year.  A couple days ago Santa let Ryan and I know that we needed to build a cage.  We told Kodi that and she was all for it.  Well last night Santa left us a surprise.  He left a note for Kodi explaining how since she has been so good this year, and if she promises to continue to be good, and to be the best big sister she can, he had an important Christmas gift for her that she got to get early.  Kodi of course promised to be good.  We ran outside to the garage and this is what we found.  Two little kittens. Kodi has already claimed the black and white one as her own, and the all black one is going to be her little sister's as soon as she can take care of it.  We haven't fully decided on names yet, but Kodi is thinking about Sparkles for hers (since her white fur is sparkling white), and Blacky for her sister's.

So many things have happened since my last post. I'll try to get some of them in but I know I won't get them all. We are still in Shelley Idaho and loving it. We are excited to announce we are having another girl this year. Our due date was set for Dec. 8th, but after taking a closer look at the little one, they decided to move it to Dec. 14th. This little angle has been a handful from the start so far. I was extremely sick the first part of the pregnancy. I was in the hospital getting IV's and spending weeks at my parent's house for help with Kodi. All I wanted for mother's day was to get some fluids in me. Luckily that was the last time I had to do that. I've found some medicine that works great for the sickness. I just have to remember to take it. On Memorial Day weekend Miah and his family came up to see us. We went to Bear World and swam at their hotel pool. I will have to post some pics of the bears. It was great! After swimming though I noticed that my right eye was fuzzy. I thought it was due to the water and would go away. No such luck. I went to the eye doctor for the first time in my life on June 18th. He said that he couldn't see what was wrong but I needed to go to a retinal specialist. So the next day I saw Dr. Romriell at 9:00 in the morning. He said that I had a partially detached retina and needed to be back to the Idaho Falls Hospital for surgery at 1:30. I was terrified! But everything went very well. I am almost all healed now and am seeing out of my eye great. I'm so lucky that we caught it before it got any worse.
So after all of these great things happening I felt like I had been put through the ringer. Then out of the blue something wonderful happened. There is a scripture that says after making it through trials we will receive blessings. I am a true believer in that. We have been searching for a house for a LONG LONG time. We have gone back and forth on building vs buying. Well we found a house that is going to be perfect! It's a new construction and should be done the end of Aug. We got in early enough that we get to choose all of the finishings and are soooo excited. Things have been going really great!
Sorry no pics this time. Give me a few weeks and I'll add some.

Here is Kodi getting ready to make cookies for the first time in our new home. Yep, we moved. We moved to Shelley, ID in the middle of January. Ryan is working and Kodi and I get to stay home and have fun everyday. We love it! We are in an apartment but are wanting to get into a house as soon as possible. (I must be a pretty crazy mom to put a three year old next to a stove, right in front of a set of knives, by a mixer, and on a counter top, & taking a picture of it all. What was I thinking?)

Kodi got to experience Temple Square in Salt Lake City for the first time this last weekend. She loved the beautiful temple, but I think she loved seeing all of the beautiful brides a little bit more. She was mesmerized by all of the water fountains & loved the whole experience.
